Avengers 4 still hasn’t seen its title revealed yet – but speculation and rumors run rampant. Many thought that the title was Avengers: Endgame, and many clues actually pointed to that being the title, but apparently – that’s not the case, according to a new report that just surfaced.
MCU Cosmic reports that the title of Avengers 4 is Avengers: Annihilation. The report simply states:
According to a source who is most reliable, the title for the conclusion to Avengers: Infinity War is Avengers: Annihilation.
A picture recently posted by the Russo Brothers that teased the title also features two big A’s:

If this is indeed the title of the film, it raises the stakes and points to one giant finale for this part of the MCU. As Kevin Feige has said, the film delivers a definitive ending:
“The best stories do come to an end. Return of the Jedi was an ending for a long time and as a 10-year-old in 1983 that carried me through 30 years until there was a sequel. That hasn’t happened before in the superhero genre. A new actor comes in and a new storyline starts right away. We wanted to do it this way because we think that the best stories have a definitive ending to a storyline. That’s certainly what’s going to happen next year with Avengers 4.”
Here’s hoping it’s worth the 10 year wait. We’ll know for sure when the film hits theaters in May of next year.
