New footage from the upcoming Venom movie has been released, and I have to say, it looks pretty cool. Most fans have been pretty skeptical about this project since the beginning, and more skepticism was added when it was revealed to have a PG-13 rating. At the very least, however, we know that the character will look pretty cool in the film – based on this action sequence.
They’ve been warned. #Venom gets in on the action in this brand-new clip – watch it now and don’t miss it in theaters October 5th. pic.twitter.com/el30Cq7Aq4

Fans revealed their thoughts on the footage as well:
The Wilhelm Scream was a bit much but Venom does look very cool in motion.

Thank god he at least doesn’t KILL them. Though he’s evil, so I guess he should, but it’s still good he doesn’t in my opinion.

Other footage has also been released this week showcasing the film’s “villain”, Riot:
The film is directed by Ruben Fleischer and stars Tom Hardy, Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, Scott Haze and Reid Scott.
Venom hits theaters everywhere on October 5th.
