The second season of Marvel’s Iron Fist may only be a fortnight old, but that hasn’t stopped Netflix from steaming forward with it’s next show, Daredevil Season 3. With the season now little over a month away, the first reactions are starting to hit the web and the consensus – It’s pretty damn good.
The first reaction comes courtesy of Joblo.com’s Paul Shirey, who saw the first six episodes of the season and has nothing but praise for both the show and it’s adaption of the classic Born Again arc. Taking to Twitter he revealed:
“I’ve seen the first six episodes of #Daredevil season 3 and they are awesome! If you are a fan of Miller’s Born Again run and classic DD villains then…you’re in for a treat. Can’t wait to see the rest of the season. Best of the Marvel Netflix shows BY FAR.”
It definitely sounds as though the show is going to be something amazing, what we definitely need after three admittedly lackluster shows this year. It’s also been noted that the classic villain is more than likely Bullseye, something that Shirey seems to confirm in a later tweet.
When asked about his opinions on the comic accuracy of the classic villain, Shirey responded with the following:
7-8, as I’ve only seen half the eps. His story is great, though. You’ll enjoy.

He also ruled out a potential appearance of one of the Man without Fear’s other villains Typhoid Mary, who was introduced in this past season of Iron Fist. When asked by a fan, he responded:
No Typhoid in the first six eps. But trust me, it’s ok. Born Again is only part of the story, though. It’s not a direct adaptation. Some seriously cool villain investment this season, though. Really great.

It certainly sounds as though Daredevil Season Three is shaping up to be just as good as the shows’s first two seasons, although we may need to wait until a few more reactions hit the internet to be sure.
Daredevil Season Three is set to hit the streaming service on October 19th.
