Marvel’s Daredevil Season 3 on Netflix is shaping up to be the darkest season for the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen yet, and I’m not just talking about the lighting. In a season supposedly inspired by the critically acclaimed Born Again storyline from the comics, this season looks to see Matt Murdock shed his civilian persona and fully become the Daredevil, as shown by the new teaser trailer at the end of the second season of Iron Fist.
“I once believed that justice could be found in a court of law, and in the light of day. But I was fooling myself. Darkness only responds to darkness. And the thing is, I’d rather die as the Devil than live as Matt Murdock.”
With the rumored inclusion of Daredevil’s arch-nemesis and fan favorite, Bullseye, this season could be the blind hero’s best. The Marvel Netflix series’ have gotten very mixed reactions, with some shows being harrowed as groundbreaking and incredible, while others have been beyond lackluster (we’re looking at you, Iron Fist, season one).
Hopefully, this one holds up to the hype and delivers on adapting a classic run in the horned hero’s history. You can check out the teaser below:
