The boogeyman returns in David Gordon Green’s new Halloween movie that will be released this October. The revival ignores all of the sequels and follows on directly from the first, some forty years later. So far a few peaks at the film have been shared and now we have more. A new image of Jamie Lee Curtis has been revealed, and some gory pictures of Michael Myers‘ victims have been published in Rue Morgue magazine.
In the most recent image of Jamie Lee Curtis as the iconic Laurie Strode, we see the final girl getting ready for her final confrontation with the masked boogeyman. You can see the image, that was originally shared by USA Today, below:

Not only have we got a look at Laurie Strode looking bad-ass and preparing for action, but in issue 183 of Rue Morgue magazine images have been shared of Michael Myers’ victims from the movie.
In the gruesome images, you can see a police officer with his throat slashed open, with a Myers-esque, human jack-o-lantern on his lap. The second pictured “inventive kill’ is off a mechanic that appears to have his mouth torn apart.
Read of the day! Bonus points for you if you found the hidden pumpkin in this picture. 😏🔪🎃🖤⚰️☠️ #magazine #ruemorgue #Halloween #horrormovie #horrorfan #TuesdayMorning #MichaelMyers pic.twitter.com/PFRrmgWYUm

In Halloween…
“A British documentary crew comes to the States to visit Michael in prison for a retrospective of the maniac’s night of terror — but their project becomes way more interesting when Myers escapes custody, retrieves his signature mask and seeks revenge on Laurie, with others naturally being part of his impressive career body count along the way.
In the decades following the fateful Halloween night that forever altered the former babysitter’s life, Laurie has armed and prepped herself for Michael’s inevitable return — to the detriment of her family, including daughter Karen and granddaughter Allyson.”
Halloween will be released on October 19.
