Titans is a show that will be coming soon to the DC Universe streaming service, and while many (including myself) thought it would be a show in the nature of The CW shows like The Flash or Arrow, that apparently is not the case. The first look at the show has Robin acting more like The Punisher – and even drops the F-Bomb while saying “F*ck Batman.” Yes, you read that correctly. Check it out for yourselves below:

Twitter seemed to enjoy the trailer:
Arrow: hasn’t been able to say Batman in six years.
Titans trailer: Fuck Batman.

Me: “Cool, the trailer for the Titans TV show.”
***Robin flatout murders like 5-6 people in 8 seconds.***

My thoughts on the TITANS trailer:
-Super dark. I love it!
-Robin is a badass
-Raven looks good
-Starfire looks amazing
-Beast Boy is green!
-Hawk and Dove look more minor charactersOverall, the trailer could’ve been better (Smells Like Teen Spirit), and the cgi looks good.

Holy shit that Teen Titans live action trailer. I thought it was a student fan project, but it’s an official one. How? How can DC keep doing this? “Fuck Batman” the edge is right out of a fanfic, it just can’t be real

Earlier in the week, we were given close up looks at the cast:

While speaking about Dick Grayson, Geoff Johns said:
“Dick Grayson is one of the most important and iconic heroes in the DC universe, and it wasn’t easy to find him but we have.”
He added:
“Brenton has the emotional depth, heart, danger and physical presence of Batman’s former protege and the Titans’ future leader. We’re extremely lucky he’s chosen to bring his talents to this project and this character.”
The official synopsis for the show reads:
Titans follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven, and many others. Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
The show will debut later this year.
