Man oh man, what a week it’s been for fans of the MCU. Between more detailed looks at the now confirmed concept art for Avengers 4 and Captain Marvel, the supposed title of Avengers: End Game allegedly being leaked, Ant-Man and The Wasp premiering, and more, every Marvel fan is salivating over the sudden influx of information. Well, now there’s a fan theory that has surfaced that is just so crazy, it may happen.
The theory makes mention of the fact that EVERYONE in the universe was affected by Thanos’ snap – giving every race on every planet a dog in the fight. This means that not only were our heroes affected, but villains as well. As the old saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend, and currently the entire universe is the enemy of the Avenger’s biggest enemy ever, the Mad Titan.
But what about people from other planets? We could also see the surviving Xandarians, Kree, and Ravagers joining the fight. Xandarians and the Kree have been embroiled in a centuries long war, but that can easily be set aside considering the mass genocide that just happened to both races at the hands of one man.
The Ravagers are a band of thieves, but we have already seen them join forces with an otherwise foe to fight a greater threat in the first Guardians of the Galaxy movie, so it wouldn’t be a stretch at all to see them join up with our heroes in the Phase 3 finale.
There is one race not mentioned in the Reddit theory that I believe is overlooked here. As we already know, the Skrull will be playing a big part in the Captain Marvel film. They, too, will be drastically affected by Thanos’ actions, so they could also put forth a temporary alliance to help take down the Gauntlet Wielder.
Of course, this is all conjecture until it is either confirmed or denied by the studio, but this theory does have some merit in its ideas. Whatever happens, fans are anxiously awaiting May 3rd, 2019 to see the final chapter in this phase of the MCU.
