Avengers 4 is currently still untitled, with no one really knowing when we will hear what the official title is. It had been rumored that the title could be Avengers: Fallen Heroes, which is a perfectly logical title, but apparently – that’s not the case.
According to MCU Cosmic:
Following CineEurope yesterday, Twitter and Reddit have been flooded with fake Avengers 4 titles with hoaxers trying to claim that they have a leaked picture of the title. Except Marvel didn’t reveal the title there. They only referred to the movie as “Untitled Avengers”
That means the movie is not called “Fallen Heroes”. Or “Heroes Forever”, “Forever Heroes”, “Time Break”, “Fallen Son”, “Eternal”, or any other blurry picture someone on Twitter is trying to pass off as a title to you.
This is referencing this “leak” that was going around the internet:
There were also rumors of apparent footage from the film that was shown – but that wasn’t the case either. Here is what the rumor was alleging:
“So a friend of mine actually got to attend the Disney presentation at CineEurope and he just got his phone and was able to tell me a lot. So the Captain Marvel stuff was mostly just bts nothing too big for that one. The Avengers 4 footage showed Ant-Man talking with Tony Stark about a new piece of technology that will allow them to go to multiple realities and collect the infinity stones. No word on the title yet. Please spread the word on this description so others may see it.”
And here is what was apparently shown:

Is it wrong of me to still think that Avengers: Fallen Heroes could be the title? It sounds great and would definitely be what most of us were probably expecting. Some thought that it could be Avengers: Infinity Gauntlet, but Kevin Feige debunked that one as well, saying:
“That is definitely not what it is called. Definitely not called that.”
He also added:
“When we announce the title I am not sure, but as I’ve probably said to you, it’s gotten completely blown out of proportion. It will just be a name and the reason to hold it back was to keep the attention on Infinity War. That backfired a little bit because now everyone thinks what’s the name of the next one gonna be? But it was really just to keep the focus [on Infinity War].
We did not want to call it Part One and Part Two. Although it will be quite evident that the films obviously connect, as all our films do, but this in particular connects very directly. And then we changed the Part One and Part Two, we said let’s just keep this Infinity War and we’ll talk about the next movie later. We had done things in the past that had taken attention off of whatever the film at hand is because we talked about this. For instance, Infinity War announcing before Ultron came out, and it worked out, it was fine, but it felt like let’s keep the attention on the film at hand.”
It is said that that was the title of the movie at one point, but no longer. Another title going around is Avengers: Endgame, but we’re not so sure about that one. We’re not sure about anything when it comes to the title of this movie, really – or the Marvel Cinematic Universe in general. Everything is always a mystery.
One thing we do know for sure is that Avengers 4, whatever the hell it’s called, will hit theaters on May 3rd, 2019.
