The upcoming Halloween movie from Blumhouse has had some very mixed news so far. There was a recent test screening that reportedly didn’t go too well, but then there was some footage shown at CinemaCon that was apparently amazing. It’s also been said that the film is undergoing reshoots to change the ending. Whatever the case, fans are waiting for a trailer – and we now know when it’ll be here.

As you can see, Blumhouse producer Jason Blum revealed that the trailer will be dropping Friday. We’re not exactly sure when, but hopefully, it’ll live up to the expectations many hardcore fans of the franchise will undoubtedly have. Blum is recently quoted as saying:
“I want to assure Halloween fans that we hear you. We have read your comments. And I can assure you that early June will be a happy time for you or perhaps I should say for most of you.”
Jamie Lee Curtis recently spoke about the film, saying:
“And as soon as I read what David Green and Danny McBride had come up with … and the way that they connected the dots of the story, it made so much sense to me that it felt totally appropriate for me to return to Haddonfield, Ill., for another 40th-anniversary retelling. There was the idea of, ‘What do you call it?’ If I had had my druthers, I probably would’ve called it Halloween Retold. Because it’s being retold. It’s the original story in many, many, many ways. Just retold 40 years later with my granddaughter.”
Here’s hoping it turns out good. The new Halloween movie hits theaters on October 19th.
