At some point you’ve most likely walked out of a movie theater, replaying what you’ve just seen in your head and trying to figure out if you’d be able to survive the traumatic events you just watched. Could you last for any significant length of time during a zombie outbreak? Would you be able to escape the landing zone of a marauding alien invasion? What about the events at the end of Avengers: Infinity War?
Lacking the military/spy training or mutant superpowers that the lead characters in any average Hollywood blockbuster almost certainly possess, as a member of Joe Public your chances are going to be pretty slim. In the closing stages of Infinity War, you can downgrade said chances from ‘hopeless’ to ‘screwed’, because there is literally NOTHING you can do that can influence whether you made it to those closing credits or not.

And there ain’t a damn thing you can do about it.
The movie’s post credits sequence emphasizes that this isn’t a fate solely limited to Thanos’s enemies. It’s EVERYBODY, regardless of race, color or creed. And it’ll tell you if you made it.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe generates no end of memes, parodies and interactive apps, and the latest of these will let you know whether or not you just survived events at the Battle Of Wakanda.
Wether the site uses an algorithm, alternates user clicks or truly is chance has yet to be revealed, but once you’re assigned your life or death options that’s it, and no amount of page refreshing will change the result. Still, whether you made it or not, we’re pretty certain that by the time the closing credits roll at the end of Avengers 4, you’ll probably have been bought back along with everybody else. Well. Except Vision. He’s screwed.
