Everyone makes mistakes and Marvel actors are no exception to the rule. However, it goes to show how good the Marvel Cinematic Universe is at burying things when Mark Ruffalo actually gave away the ending to Avengers: Infinity War over a year ago and not many people noticed. We did actually report this story, but not many took it seriously.
In an interview with Good Morning America, Don Cheadle and Mark Ruffalo show their comedic and awkward sides while discussing their films. Ruffalo discuses Thor: Ragnarok and ponders answering the question about if they succeed in saving Asgard but does come back with
“It doesn’t end well for the superheroes.”
Not so bad right? Well, he continues to say:
“Wait till you see this next one, [ha]everybody dies.”
Cheadle reacts heavily to him trying to shut him up where Ruffalo then responds with:
“Not everybody! No. Is that? Can we rewind that part? Am I in trouble?”
Uh oh, @DonCheadle, is @MarkRuffalo going to get in trouble with @MarvelStudios now!? #InfinityWar #D23expo pic.twitter.com/WR5C1QCBTb

Not only does he go on to say that he gets impulsive sometimes, he seems absolutely shocked with himself that he said that out loud in an interview. The part that no one caught was when he almost said the word half instead of everybody.
Marvel Studios is usually pretty good with keeping things under wraps, so part of me thinks that this could have been on purpose to start building up the hype to the film. However, if it wasn’t on purpose, they did a good job avoiding this major spoiler. Maybe Ruffalo should be a little bit more careful in interviews, because he seems pretty nervous and almost giddy to tell what happens in his major motion pictures.
Do you think Ruffalo should avoid interviews for the next major film? Be sure to let us know in the comments below!
