One element that makes Blumhouse’s upcoming Halloween movie one of the most anticipated productions of the year, is John Carpenter’s involvement! Carpenter was announced to be executive producing the film and working as a creative consultant from the very beginning. And considering he’s strayed away from the franchise ever since Halloween III: Season of the Witch, it’s become every fan’s dream to see him return to the series.
Of course, it also was hinted that Carpenter would be scoring the film as well. He worked on the musical compositions for each of the original three Halloween films, so having him return to do this new movie’s soundtrack would simply be icing on the cake. Now it’s been confirmed that he will indeed be doing the music!
Producer Jason Blum recently confirmed on Twitter that the soundtrack will be created by John Carpenter.
Confirm!

How cool is that? He’s certainly stayed on top of his game over the years, having released several new albums containing original material. Let’s hope his score lives up to the hype.
In the new sequel which is directed by David Gordon Green…
“Laurie Strode comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.”
Halloween will hit theaters on October 19, 2018.
