The Nun is one movie that horror fans are definitely looking forward to. We first saw the Valak character appear in The Conjuring 2, and was popular (and terrifying) enough to warrant a solo movie. While we haven’t gotten a trailer for the upcoming movie yet, we were given a sort of behind the scenes video back in October. Now, however, we have our first official image for the movie!

Obviously, this is the type of thing that horror fans have expected to see, and the movie should reflect just that. If you enjoyed The Conjuring films, then you should definitely enjoy this one. We’ll keep you posted on the trailer – whenever we get it. We’re guessing it should be soon, given the fact that we were given this teaser image – unless they decided to make us all wait a long time like some other movies do.
Not much is known about the movie, but the official synopsis reads:
The story centers on a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania taking her own life, with a priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret and confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun from “The Conjuring 2.”
The Nun will arrive in theaters on July 13th, 2018.
