Fan theories are all we are most likely going to have from now and until Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters in around 3 weeks. Although, most fan theories are interesting and a fun time, some are just absolutely horrible and even the crew behind infinity war has to tell you how wrong you are. The cast and crew has mentioned their feelings on spoilers but there must have been a breaking point when James Gunn just had to say, nope, and shut a theory right down.
The MCU fan, Leo Rabelo, decided to take to his twitter to let his followers know how positive he was that HIM (AKA Adam Warlock) had possession of one of the Infinity stones. There are a few things wrong with this theory, starting with the announcement that Adam Warlock would not even be apart of the Infinity War films. This came out shortly after Guardians of the Galaxy 2 by director James Gunn.
Besides that, little announcement, Gunn took directly to Rabelo’s post to turn his theory right down.

Another fan also brings up to Rabelo that Gunn has already spoken on Warlock and him not being involved in Infinity War. The moral of this message is, not all fan theories are correct, but some just end up being embarrassing. I couldn’t imagine how he felt to have someone as important to the film as Gunn, rip apart what he says in only a few short words, followed by a “sorry”. You must do your research before passing these opinions on, because not only are Marvel fans relentless but apparently the cast and crew can correct you also.
However, is there a chance that Gunn is one giant liar and Warlock will be in the film and in fact will have the stone? Probably not but it needed to be said!
