The new television spot for Avengers: Infinity War has aired, and it shows some more humor from the lovable member of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Rocket Raccoon. As you may recall, the upcoming film has more than 60 Marvel characters to bring us the event of the year and it will release April 27th, and with that we may see some characters clash.
In other trailers, we witness Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) mock the plan that Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) has come up with and offer that they follow his lead, so it does not suck, but in the TV spot, we get to see Rocket tease Thor about not wanting to participate in the war only to come back with just kidding. We also get a look at the teenage version of Groot being asked to turn off his electronic device – only to return with the most sarcastic I am Groot response – leaving everyone in the ship stunned. While these may not be important details to the film itself it does bring the humor behind to film to the front line.

It is already well known that the film is going to be funny as well as action-packed, especially when Mark Ruffalo spoke about what he thought about the Russo brothers film during an interview for Thor: Ragnarok:
“It’s so well crafted. Markus and McFeely smashed the script, and it has it all: it’s funny, moving, it’s epic. It’s a Russo brothers classic, like, balls to the wall, you know? It’s gonna be amazing. They’re so talented, and they’re great guys too.”
The TV spot also shows more Doctor Strange on the battlefield, and although we do not see who he is fighting, we get the impression he is not too impressed with his opponent. Get ready for the event of the season where we get to see all these amazing stories combine into one epic film that brings so many of our questions to an end – while bringing more questions up.
