The Cult Disaster series of films, Sharknado, have finally announced their end. They have been pleasing their fans for 5 years with 5 films, Sharknado, Sharknado 2: The Second One, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, Sharknado: The 4th Awakens and Sharknado 5: Global Swarming. Sharknado 6 currently is unnamed but will be the last film, and they have decided to go out with one heck of a bang!
If you watched the 5th in the series you got to see many well-known celebrities in the film including Olivia Newton-John, her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, Margaret Cho, Bret Michaels, Tony Hawk, Fabio, and Charo. Even with those appearances it only managed to get 1.89 million in viewers which was a large drop from the second film which brought in 3.9 million viewers and was the series best.
The film is going to be a time traveling adventure and will air on America’s Syfy network July 25th, 2018. We will see the return of April and Fin Shepard played by Tara Reid and Ian Ziering, to lead the cast in the film. If you remember the 5th, you should recall that Fin was left wandering the world after it was destroyed and according to IMDb he will be trying to save it before it is ruined!
βFin must unlock the time-traveling power of the Sharknados in order to save the world.β
With Reid and Ziering being the lead in series of films, obviously there were feelings to be shared when it was announced to be the last. Reid took to twitter to thank everyone for their support, while Ziering took to his twitter to announce that there is a storm coming.

Regardless of how this film turns out, it may not have the biggest following as a lot of people are excited about the series finally come to its end. Of course, the true fans will be disappointed, but it is better to end before it gets uncontrollably out of whack, and it seems we may have already gotten there.
