With Avengers: Infinity War already so popular before it even hits theaters, there has been more and more information shared about Avengers 4. It seems that they are not wasting time in opening the next chapter to this wonderful series and are sharing details with the fans about certain things that may or may not happen. Infinity War is set to arrive in theaters April 27th and with that little of time left, it is no wonder people are starting to question what comes after this!
It has come to light that Carol Danvers fans are just going to have to wait a little bit longer to see their bright star in action. Joe Russo, the co-director of Infinity War, has confirmed that Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel will not appear in this film but will appear in Avengers 4. Russo commented to Comicbook.com about the female hero by saying:
“She is not in Avengers 3.”
The Russo brothers had seemingly let is slip that fans may be able to watch their female live action super hero in the upcoming Avengers movie – but what wasn’t clear was that they were apparently speaking about Avengers 4.
Fear not fans of the wonderful Carol Danvers, her live action movie is still set to release March 2019 and shortly after that is the release date of Avengers 4 in May. Although we may not get to see Brie Larson bring the Captain Marvel character to light in Infinity War, we do get to see many more of our beloved heroes in the upcoming flick. This may be a sad day for some, but I think the movie will make up for it in many ways.
Regardless of Larson not participating in this film, are you still excited? Were you hoping to see Captain Marvel showcase her talents? Be sure to tell us what you think in the comments!
