Remember back in last year’s Justice League Comic Con footage where somebody imposing walks up towards towards Jeremy Irons’ Alfred and he simply responds, ‘they said you would come‘? Remember all the theories about who it was and then it turned out the scene was cut anyway? Well, that scene has now found its way online and you will never guess who he was talking to? Okay, it was Superman, but still, it’s a cool scene.
The scene seemingly follows onto the scene which hit the web a couple of nights ago, where a recently resurrected Clark Kent walks through the Kryptonian Ship in search of a new suit. It was in that scene that we caught a glimpse of the black suit which was rumored to have been the characters choice of attire after coming back from the dead.
This scene opens Jurassic Park style, with Superman’s presence causing ripples in the whisky of Wayne’s dutiful butler. This scene marks the first meeting between the two characters, with Superman presumably visiting the Batcave to learn where the battle with Steppenwolf is taking place.

Whilst the scene doesn’t offer much in the way of information, hearing Jeremy Irons utter the words ‘Master Kent’ coupled with Superman’s theme make it pretty damn awesome and more of a disappointment that it didn’t make it into the final cut. From a plot standpoint, it was a nice surprise when Superman made his dramatic entrance during the film’s climax, but it’s little scenes like this that would have made Justice League feel like a more complete movie.
Hopefully, we will be able to see more deleted scenes make their way online now that Justice League has hit home media, although it may just lead to more people to demand a Zack Snyder Director’s Cut. For those of you who want something more physical, you can pick up the DVD and Blu-ray on March 13th.
