The long-running series Supernatural is finally on its 13th season, and while some would consider this an unlucky number – I think it’s just right for a series that features curses and spells. Especially because before the new season even aired, we found out that we’d be getting a special episode that would crossover with Scooby-Doo.
While we still have a few weeks before the episode comes out, we do know the title finally, and it’s fittingly being called “ScoobyNatural”. It’s certainly going to be fun getting to see how dark they can take the Scooby-Doo characters and storylines, as this’ll be the first version of the franchise not aimed for kids.

Sam Winchester actor Jared Padalecki already loves how the episode turned out. As he told ET last October, the episode was “fucking awesome.” He also explained, “Never in my wildest dreams [did I imagine we’d do this]. I grew up watching it, so to hear that animated you is going to be on the same screen with the Mystery Machine [is] super cool.”
The episode was directed by Robert Singer and also according to producer Jim Michaels’ twitter page, it’ll be the 16th episode of Season 13. If you’re not familiar with the storyline of Supernatural and how such a plot is possible…
The story revolves around two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester as they follow their father’s footsteps, hunting down evil supernatural creatures such as monsters, demons, and even fallen gods while trying to save innocent people along the way.
Be sure to check out the episode when it airs which should be around sometime in March.
