Avengers: Infinity War is easily the most anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe movie to date, and it finally hits theaters in about 3 months. There’s only been one official trailer, but tonight, Marvel decided to release new sneak peek!
Update: it appears as though the tease from a Marvel account earlier was misleading, as it’s only the trailer re-cut with different parts here and there. A Canadian band also mislead everyone, by stating it would be something new, presumably for marketing purposes. We made the article before reviewing the footage, because we assumed since a Marvel account had referenced it earlier, it would be okay. Our mistake.
We’ve got a look at Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, which opens in theatres May 4th. We can’t wait to see it. Check it out! #Marvel #InfinityWar pic.twitter.com/H0WrnXsTw1

As far as details of the film go, Kevin Feige recently revealed that the film’s villain, Thanos, does something awful at the beginning of the movie:
“Within the first five minutes of Infinity War, people will understand why Thanos is the biggest and baddest villain in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You know, we’ve been teasing Thanos since the very first Avengers film. Remember the end of Avengers, the very end of the movie he turns around in the chair and you realize something bad is coming. We’ve been teasing him for years and the trick is when you tease something for that long you have to deliver.”
The movie’s synopsis has also teased a deadly showdown:
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must willing to sacrifice it all in an attempt to defeat the power of Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
The movie stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the big bad Thanos.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on May 4th, 2018.
