Out of all of these, I’m most excited to see The Mummy listed. As a die-hard horror fan, it was heartbreaking to see such an iconic franchise completely abused and forced to become an obvious “cash grab”. It’s about time Hollywood suffers from some of their mistakes, and although it hurts to see the Universal Monsters once again thrown on the back burner, maybe it’ll inspire a better comeback in the future.
In any case, be sure to check out Rotten Tomatoes’ video that went along with the announcement.
