Thor: Ragnarok was a massive success both commercially and critically, with fans everywhere praising the film. It now has a new fan, and that new fan happens to be none other than Deadpool‘s Ryan Reynolds. The actor took to Twitter to reveal his thoughts on the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, saying:
Late to the party on Thor: Ragnarok. I dislocated my face laughing. @TaikaWaititi is an international treasure. Protect his mind and body at all costs. @thorofficial

We could see Ryan Reynolds by Thor’s side in a future MCU film, as Disney recently bought FOX, and can now use Deadpool. Disney CEO Bob Iger said he’s open to R-Rated Marvel movies in the future:
“There may be an opportunity for an R-rated Marvel brand as long as we let audiences know what’s coming.”
Until then, however, we’ll see Thor next in Avengers: Infinity War, which will be a major film, judging by the synopsis:
An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
We’ll see Deadpool next in Deadpool 2, with the only current synopsis reading:
After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry’s hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. Searching to regain his spice for life, as well as a flux capacitor, Wade must battle ninjas, the yakuza, and a pack of sexually aggressive canines, as he journeys around the world to discover the importance of family, friendship, and flavor – finding a new taste for adventure and earning the coveted coffee mug title of World’s Best Lover.
Both Avengers: Infinity War and Deadpool 2 will be released later this year.
