Marvel has once again posted another tease of the reveal of the Avengers: Infinity War trailer, and now, they’ve posted a preview of what to expect – but this time, they’ve finally given us a date! That’s right, we now know when we will see the trailer to quite possibly the biggest superhero film ever made.
The highly anticipated trailer will be released tomorrow:
Footage from the film leaked on Sunday, but was quickly taken down. Based on that leaked footage, it looks to be a very dark turn for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but that was somewhat expected. Avengers 4 is said to be the end of the current MCU, as Marvel’s Kevin Feige put it yesterday:
“There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting.”
Infinity War stars Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bethany, Sebastian Stan, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Karen Gillan, Vin Diesel, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, Pom Klementieff, and Josh Brolin as the big bad villain Thanos.
The film’s synopsis: As the Avengers and their allies have continued to protect the world from threats too large for any one hero to handle, a new danger has emerged from the cosmic shadows: Thanos. A despot of intergalactic infamy, his goal is to collect all six Infinity Stones, artifacts of unimaginable power, and use them to inflict his twisted will on all of reality. Everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment – the fate of Earth and existence itself has never been more uncertain.
Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters May 4th, 2018.
