Along with a new BTS featurette, a new Chinese trailer for Thor: Ragnarok has surfaced on the internet showing new footage!
You can see Hela, Surtur, Valkyrie and more as well as a Thor: Ragnarok Chinese poster.
Thor: Raganarok will release November 3, 2017 and is directed by Taika Waititi starring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk/Banner, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Idris Elba as Heimdall, Cate Blanchett as Hela, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster, Anthony Hopkins as Odin and Sam Neill in a role not yet known.
Thor’s world is coming apart in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok. Loki, who has come up against his brother before, has taken Asgard. Hela sees this as an opportunity to take the throne for herself, and build a new world, suited to her liking. Thor is unable to fix these transgressions, as he is stuck on the other side of the universe. In order to escape his imprisonment, he must defeat his former colleague and Avenger in a contest, The Incredible Hulk!
One thing I would like to mention is it seems the visual style is somewhat lighter and slightly more artistic. It isn’t all about the muscle and action in this film, though that is definitely the biggest part. It’ll be interesting to see if this film plays out more like a comic and less like a film.
As we’ve seen in the last Avengers film to be released, it’s hard to see characters we’ve grown up with fighting each other. While Thor: Ragnarok will have the same sort of scenario, let’s hope we aren’t as moved to tears over this clash of the supernatural as we were with the aforementioned film.
