Samuel L. Jackson Isn’t In BLACK PANTHER – And He’s Pissed About It

    By Frank PalmerAugust 14, 2017

Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, hasn’t been around in a while.

It was basically confirmed that he will be in the upcoming Captain Marvel movie, but he’s still been noticeably absent for some time now.

Don’t expect that to change, either – as the actor has confirmed to Yahoo! Movies that he won’t be in quite a few of the upcoming MCU movies:

“I wasn’t in the ‘superhero argument’ movie [‘Captain America: Civil War’], I’m not in ‘Avengers 3 and 4’. They’re shooting them now, and they haven’t called me yet,” Jackson said.

    Black Panther?

“They wouldn’t let me go to ‘Black Panther’-ville, so it’s kinda like how you gonna make a black Marvel movie and not let Nick Fury show up in it?!”

It’s interesting, because Captain Marvel was also confirmed to NOT be in Infinity War.

The Captain Marvel solo film with Brie Larson will be interesting – as it will be set in the 90’s. Let’s just hope they don’t make the timelines super confusing like Bryan Singer’s X-Men movies. \

Who knows where the MCU is headed – as Kevin Feige gave this interesting message back in June:

“We have another two years of hard work to even finish these movies, and they [the actors] have a lot of hard work to do, so that’s all we’re thinking about, is completing those and delivering on the promise of those. Where it goes beyond that, we’ll see.”

I think it’s safe to say that whatever it is they have planned,  they know what they’re doing – given their solid track record.
