Scott Lang’s Ant-Man turned out to be quite the hit for Marvel in 2015. Its success quickly led to the announcement of a sequel. But this time Ant-Man will be joined by a second hero – The Wasp, otherwise known as Hope van Dyne, played by Evangeline Lilly.
The actress’s role was already teased in an after credits scene for Ant-Man, but fans continued to wonder what her new suit would look like. Now, Lilly has taken to Twitter, and decided to tease her followers with a new hint about the suit.
She added the caption below which revealed she’s already been fitted for the costume.
“Had a fitting for my Wasp costume last week. Am I the only one getting excited?????”

And before you get your hopes up, the picture accompanying the caption is actually Janet van Dyne’s suit, Hope’s mother from the first film. Not actually the suit that we’ll be seeing the Wasp in.
However, Marvel did hold a press event in April, and Screen Rant managed to get a look at the concept art for The Wasp’s final suit.
You can read their description below:
“The Wasp’s costume looks largely like the uniform revealed in the post-credits button of Ant-Man with added silver sleeves attached to the costume, which would seem to indicate that Hank Pym’s crew have continued to tinker with their technology and gear.”
We should be getting to see her official new look soon, hopefully as we approach the film’s release date.
Ant-Man and The Wasp hit theaters July 6, 2018.
