There is no denying it, James Gunn is just as much a fan as he is a filmmaker. Meaning that, unsurprisingly, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is full of Easter eggs and references to both the comics and the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.
And who better to point out all of them than a YouTuber who has a very solid track record of pointing out the tiny details that most of us miss in these films, this being Mr Sunday Movies, who has made it somewhat of a habit to make an Easter egg video for every major comic book movie release.

Interestingly enough, part of me doubts that he has managed to get every single little reference made by Gunn. And that’s just because Gunn is that sort of filmmaker, he likes putting in details for people to notice, but also keeps his cards close to his chest.
This is arguably most notable with how he’s still refusing to reveal one final Easter egg from the first Guardians film.

He did say, however, that someone came close, so maybe, just maybe – someone will guess it.
Who knows how many he’ll refuse to reveal from the second installment? But that’s all part of the fun, at the end of the day.
