LEGO is one of the greatest things to exist ever… but moving swiftly onto the actual focus on the article. A bunch of new images for an upcoming Justice League LEGO set have been released, appearing to give us a better idea of what Steppenwolf will look like in the film.
Up until this point, all that has been seen of Steppenwolf was the one deleted scene that depicted Lex Luthor communicating with him, via the technology of the Kryptonian ship.
Admittedly this was a distorted version of him as he was shown through the what I presume to be the Kryptonian equivalent of FaceTime. Meaning that we didn’t really get a proper sense of scale or color, just the general design of the character.
Well the new pictures released of the LEGO set give us a decent look at the Steppenwolf mini-fig. Check them out here:

The first thing that’s suggested from this initial look is that Steppenwolf will be a larger than normal adversary, potentially towering over the League. Given that the character is not portrayed through the standard mini-figure and instead is made up of individual bricks and pieces to make up a slightly larger and more articulated figure, (like Mr. Freeze’s mech from the LEGO Batman Movie range).
Additionally, there appears to be a few little highlights of red amongst the black and silver armor. Admittedly, this is probably more prominent on the LEGO figure than it will ever be on film, (we all know how Zack loves to mute his colors). Whatever this incarnation of Steppenwolf looks like on screen, it has translated into quite a neat little LEGO figure. And I do love the sense of scale it presents over the other League members on the box, hopefully this is an accurate translation of how it looks on screen.
What do you guys think of the LEGO Steppenwolf design? Hope that it’s accurate to what we may end up getting on screen? Sound off in the comments below!
