The newest adaptation of Stephen King’s It is about to make some serious money.
As the ratings for the first trailer have proven, there’s no shortage of fans ready to see Pennywise in theaters. The trailer has already broken the record for most views in a day, beating the trailer for The Fate of the Furious. And now fans are ready for more.
A new production photo that’s hit Reddit has thrown fans into a frenzy, and there seems to be a good reason why. Just look at it!

The photo shows Bill Skarsgård’s Pennywise on a monitor looking rather feisty, preparing to attack or maybe even eat an innocent child. And in the background you can get a glimpse of the child actors digging into the catering. How poetic.
Of course, it’ll still be a lot of work for Skarsgård to live up to Tim Curry. His portrayal of Pennywise has become so iconic over the decades. No matter how scary Skarsgård looks eating or attacking a child, he may just never live up to that first shot of Curry’s Pennywise attacking Georgie from the sewers with razor sharp teeth.
Here’s the synopsis for the newest adaptation of Stephen King’s It below:
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, a group of young kids are faced with their biggest fears when they square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
It hits theaters September 8, 2017.
