If, like me, you’re one of those strange folk who actively seek out information on upcoming films via set pics, you will be aware that a portion of the highly anticipated, Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 actually takes place back on earth. Now thanks to a new clip, we have an idea of what these scenes might entail. Read on to find out more.
The clip was premiered as part of a skit Jimmy Kimmel Live! last week. During the show, Kimmel sent his partner in crime, Guillermo to the films set in the hopes of getting a cameo. You can check out the full skit a bit further down, but you can see a glimpse of the final scene below.

The scene in question features some kind of alien….blob, attacking some onlookers in small American town. It’s currently not clear what is actually going on in the scene, or where it actually fits in, but is clear that this isn’t actually an eighties flashback as many suspected.
It’s likely that this scene may be what brings the Guardians to earth in the first place, possibly leading into next years Avengers: Infinity War, which the characters are confirmed to be making an appearance in. As it stands, I can’t think of any potential characters that this may actually be, if you have any thoughts be sure to let us know in the comments section below.
