During the early months of production, rumors were swirling that Zendaya was actually playing Peter Parker’s live interest, Mary-Jane Watson in Spider-Man: Homecoming. However it sounds as though we may be seeing another of Parker’s ladies make an appearance in the upcoming film.
The new information comes via the Twitter page, Tom Holland Source, who have several screen grabs from some currently unknown footage. The images they supply are seemingly from the portion of the film set in High School and give us a look at Parker both in his civilian attire and his superhero costume. We also get a look at Tony Revolori as Parker’s High School bully, Flash Thompson.

The account also seemingly confirms that the film will introduce a couple of important aspects of the characters lore, namely the Daily Bugle, where Parker later goes on to work and Gwen Stacey, who is possibly one of his most iconic love interests.
They also reveal that, The Nice Guys actress, Angourie Rice is actually playing this character in the film. Whilst this should be taken with a grain of salt, one shot in the films first trailer does seemingly give us a look at the character with her trademark headband.
We’ll find out just how accurate this information is when Spider-Man: Homecoming swings into theaters July 7th.
