Marvel has been busy with building their television schedule. Aside from announcing a new series with the New Warriors, we’ve been treated to a Defenders promo and release date – as well as news that Daredevil and Jessica Jones will be getting future seasons.
In fact, Jessica Jones’ next season had already started production on Monday. And now everyone is curious to see which cast members may be returning.

Actor Will Traval, who played in the first season as Detective Will Simpson, otherwise known as Nuke, gave a vague tweet that could be hinting at his return. It especially makes sense with the timing of production and his decision to visit New York.
It also makes sense considering his character was left open-ended by the conclusion of season 1, as Simpson had become addicted to the pills that transformed him into Nuke.
So, there you have it. We may be getting the return of Nuke on Jessica Jones season 2, and hopefully soon with the way production has already started.
We’ll see Jessica Jones next in The Defenders when it hits Netflix on August 18th of this year – barring any crossovers the character might be in for the theatrical films. Though – I doubt that will happen, especially with what Anthony Mackie said last month:
“Different universes, different worlds, different companies, different designs. Kevin Feige is very specific about how he wants the Marvel Universe to be seen in the film world. It wouldn’t work. It wouldn’t work at all.”
Here’s to hoping that’ll change.
