To many people, Hugh Jackman will no doubt be best known for his heroics as fan favorite character……Van Helsing. But to Baywatch actor, Zac Efron, Jackman is pretty damn heroic in his own right even going so far as to carry the actor out of a burning building. Read on to find out more.
In a recent interview with MTV, Efron recounted a story from the production from his upcoming film, The Greatest Showman. The story involves Jackman, Efron and some wayward pyrotechnics. Efron told the interviewer:
“It started to get late, and some of the pyrotechnics got a little bit too hot. And that was when we burst out of the building. It looked great on camera. We didn’t know it, but it was pretty intense. I watched playback, and he saved me from a burning building. It later exploded that night. It was a set, but it later burned down.”
Okay, so maybe Efron wasn’t in as much danger as he seemed to imply, seeing as though it sounds as if the building didn’t actually burn down till later on. But still, Efron seemed to know that this would make an interesting headline, especially given how many people would like to have this experience.
He then went on to say:
“Hugh Jackman saving you from a burning building; it’s every girl’s dream.”
Well Zack, you are not wrong there, I certainly know my mother would agree with that statement, hell, I think I may even agree with that statement.
The Greatest Showman is set for release 25th December.
And while it seems that Jackman is done with the role of Wolverine, one of our writers seems to think he can still return one day.
What do you think? Is Efron mastering the art of Clickbait? Would you like to be rescued by Jackman? Let us know below!
