Ever since the three photos from It were released yesterday, fans have been ecstatic for more Pennywise. And now today, we have a brand new poster and short teaser video that tease the release of the trailer tomorrow, Wednesday, March 29. As can be expected, the trailer doesn’t really reveal any important characters from the film. It does, however, give us an eerie revelation that “we all float down here” while the camera soars through a sewer drain. And, of course, there’s a few other pieces of dialogue from the film accompanying it.
This includes Finn Wolfhard as Richie Tolzier, saying, “A clown? I saw it too.” Also, if you were hoping to see Pennywise before the release of the trailer, then you’re in luck. The poster for the film gives us a look at Pennywise and his bright red balloon. I rather like it, it’s a little more unique than most teaser posters these days and really fits with the style of the character.
It will be based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, which was also previously adapted as a miniseries in 1990.
When children begin to disappear in the town of Derry, Maine, neighborhood kids band together to square off against Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård), an evil clown whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.
Be sure to check back here for the trailer tomorrow, while the film itself hits theaters September 8, 2017.
