The casting list for Avengers: Infinity War continues to expand as confirmed by Kong: Skull Island’s Terry Notary. He did the mo-cap for the beast himself in the Kong flick and now he has confirmed that he’ll be playing Thanos’ right hand man.
“Having one of those is important. What do you have left without him? A whole lot of work!” – Negan: The Walking Dead.
“I’m working on four characters right now. I’m working with Josh Brolin and three other actors [in Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War], and I’m playing Josh Brolin’s right hand bad guy in the film. I can’t say the name of the character or I think Marvel will sever my head, but I apply those same principals of what it means to drop bullshit and just play a character truly evil. And it’s working. [Laughs] It’s truly working.”
If anyone recalls Corvus Glaive from Marvel’s “Infinity” comic delivered on Free Comic Book Day, this evil character played Thanos’ loyal servant.
Could the tight-lipped Notary be keeping the Corvus Glaive character under wraps?
Sounds like Terry is playing a member of Thanos' Black Order possibly Black Dwarf or Corvus. #AvengersInfinityWar pic.twitter.com/o8FioFUJew

In the aforementioned statement, Terry mentioned 3 OTHER actors that he’s been working with. Also, the four characters he’s been working ON. There is a total of 5 members of the Black Order not including Thanos in the Infinity series.
We have Proxima Midnight who is married to Corvus, another leader of the Black Order group. Then there is Supergiant, Black Dwarf, and Ebony Maw.
The MCU actors of which Terry is referring makes it a total of 4 though. Of course, the unnamed actors he’s talking about could be people already casted, so who knows if the Black Order is even involved.
To give a little history on this group in the comics, these villains had taken up arms against the Avengers in an Earth invasion. The mission here on the baddies’ parts were to find the location of the Infinity Gems/Stones.
That said, there’s no telling if this storyline could inspire The Avengers: Infinity War and the following Untitled Avengers 4 sequel.
Do you think Kong’s Terry Notary will be playing Corvus Glaive? Will the Black Order or the Cull Obsidian be debuting in their own way? Sound off in the comment section below!
