DC fans are looking forward to Game of Thrones’ Jason Momoa taking on the underwater superhero mantle in the new Aquaman movie.
It was reported in times past for it to start production in the spring and now a filming date has been confirmed, according to My Entertainment World.
It’s under the working title of “Ahab” which is funny because it refers to a nautical theme. A story line also follows.
“The film is about a superhero from the sea who can telepathically communicate with all sea creatures is caught between a rock and a hard place when the creatures of the sea want to revolt against the surface world.”
And what animal would not revolt considering there was probably a tipping point where there was simply one too many sea creatures getting sick of oil spills and getting caught up in plastic soda pop can rings.
You could probably say this is the oceanic version of Skynet becoming self-aware.
Think Aquaman can get a handle on the situation?
Principal photography has been set for May 22 and the Aquaman movie is set for release come Oct. 5, 2018.
