Additional footage was added such as Doctor Strange’s Benedict Cumberbatch had acknowledged Thanos as well as the significant impact of the Marvel multiverse.
“You have Thanos which is already rumbled
in the background a little bit.”
There’s also Black Panther to consider as he was considered an important element to the MCU according to executive producer of the film, Nate Moore, and figured he deserved his own stand-alone movie. T’Challa is also a politician which involves some serious choices in his role and according to co-writer/director of Black Panther, Ryan Coogler, there’s a bit of a grey area as the superhero is also a soldier.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige explains how they are further exploring other world cultures in this case. It also brings in another aspect never seen before by bringing the world of Wakanda into it.
Other features with Thor: Ragnarok was also shown as well as director Taika Waititi talking about the humor being incorporated into the film. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 director James Gunn also announced how fascinated he was being involved with bringing the MCU together.
