In recent years he’s took it upon himself to become one of wrestling’s most beloved motivational speakers and fitness instructors. The 3 time WCW World Heavyweight Champion may be semi retired however some of his finest accomplishments may have come from outside the ring as he’s been the man responsible for helping many legendary wrestlers find their way back from a variety of personal problems.
Having significantly changed the life of Jake the Snake Roberts and Scott Hall for the better he’s also known for extending the longevity of modern day wrestlers through DDP Yoga with Chris Jericho and AJ Style being just a couple of advocats. Having trained to be a wrestler at the late age of 35, Diamond Dallas Page went onto become one of WCW’s main eventers throughout ‘The Monday Night Wars.’
Known by most wrestling fans for his signature finishing move, ‘the Diamond Cutter,’ which many have touted as an early version of the RKO, he’s also known for his trademark hand gesture. Joining the likes of Kurt Angle, Teddy Long and The Rock’n’Roll Express, WrestleMania 33 will no doubt be a special occasion for wrestling fans worldwide. March 31st will commence WrestleMania weekend which takes place in Orlando, Florida.
