If you follow the Twitter account for Marvel’s Daredevil then you may have came across something quite interesting in the form of a news article. Just a couple of days ago the Twitter account posted an image from the New York Bulletin, the fictional tabloid that Ben Ulrich worked for, which had the titled ‘Punisher Punished: Ruthless Vigilante Captured.’
However the tweet then goes onto say “Look closely, you never know what you’ll see,” in which our eyes are diverted to the lower left of the page with the headline ‘New Theories Shed Light on Lost City.’ As many comic book fans know, this is more than likely a reference to the mystical K’un L’un, which appears on planet Earth once every 10 years. It’s at that location where Daniel Rand aka Iron Fist is trained in the deadly martial arts.

Whether or not this is just a simple nod to comic book lore or a much juicier reference to the storyline for The Defenders is yet to be confirmed. Iron Fist is expected to hit Netflix on March 17th and then The Defenders is scheduled to be released sometime 2017.
“Marvel’s The Defenders” follows Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.
