Screenings of Logan, starring Hugh Jackman as the lead, have been running and reviews have been pretty positive. Now FOX announced an extended 3-minute runtime for the flick.
The movie isn’t out yet for the public, so when it debuts on March 3, could this mean time alloted for a post-credits scene at the movie’s conclusion?

Bleeding Cool suggested a possible New Mutants set-up here, a film to be directed by Josh Boone.
It would make sense to speculate that because any Fox-related, mutant themed projects coming out in the future could tie into Logan somehow. Nothing’s confirmed, but consider this…

“After doing some soul-searching Laura decided to take on the mantle of Wolverine herself—the moment that makes her younger self’s appearance in Logan so vital.”
Fans are still hopeful on Jackman’s return and according to We Got This Covered, “Logan signals” X-23 taking on his mantle.
Could Jackman’s claim on not playing an X-Man again mean his death in Logan? Or, could he continue on in a possible X-23 spin-off?
Director James Mangold stated that he did want to partake in an X-23 movie though, according to We Got This Covered and said he knows that the actor will not be making anymore X-Men movies.
Mangold did state, however, he know’s he’ll be working with Hugh again.
“I definitely know that Hugh and I will work together again,” said Mangold”
A lot of actors sometimes say they’ll retire themselves after having been so long partaken in a role, but things can change as stories seem to form themselves in the moment.
Could FOX say, “Jackman, we need you for just ONE more, please.”?
Would this speculated 3-minute spot reserved for the post-credits scene lead into a possible X-23 spin-off? New Mutants? Deadpool sequel?
X-Force is always a possibility as there had been character artwork by Greg Semkow. It was based off of director Jeff Wadlow’s script for the project.
