The Iron Man armour has gone through many iterations in the MCU, with the version in Civil War being the Mark 46. So, as you can imagine, these armours have come in all shapes and sizes, and so it makes sense for the armour appearing in Spider-Man: Homecoming to be another new iteration.
From the brief glimpse we got in the trailer, it would appear that the armour in the film is identical to the Mark 46 from Civil War. However, Hasbro’s recent announcement of the line-up of Marvel Legends figures related to Homecoming tell a different story.
As you can see, while the shape is basically the same as the Mark 46, the colour suggests that there will be a lot of grey interacting with the red and gold. It looks like a strange hybrid of Iron Man and War Machine.
As this is just merchandise, there’s no real way of confirming that this is how it will look in the final film. But so far the Marvel Legends range has been very accurate in regards to their depiction of characters from the films.
