It looks like Warner Bros. is considering Nicole Kidman for the role of Arthur Curry’s mother in the upcoming Aquaman adaptation!
It’s not known whether she’ll be playing Aquaman’s adopted or biological mother, but some suggest she’ll be appearing in the James Wan-directed film as Atlanna.

Nicole Kidman may be joining the DC Cinematic Universe.
The actress, who is in the Oscar mix this awards season for her work in Lion, is in early talks to play Aquaman’s mother in Aquaman, the big-screen take of the underwater-breathing comic book superhero.
The rest of the cast includes Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Amber Heard as Mera, Willem Dafoe as Dr. Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Orm, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.
We can expect to hear more information as the film’s release date approaches.
Aquaman hits theaters October 5, 2018.
