After a long wait, Lucasfilm has officially announced the title for Star Wars: Episode VIII. Not much has been revealed for the upcoming film aside from a few set photos and teases here or there – and now, Episode VIII has a new title and poster.

It’s definitely going to be an interesting movie for Star Wars fans, who are now being treated to at least one movie a year ever since Disney bought the rights to the iconic franchise.
We’ll be sure to keep you up to date on all things Star Wars, as soon as we get the news – as I’m sure there will be a ton of it in the coming months.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which is written and directed by Rian Johnson and continues the storylines introduced in Star Wars: The Force Awakens, welcomes back cast members Mark Hamill, the late Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, and Andy Serkis. New cast members will include Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern, and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15, 2017.
