It’s been clamored for by fans, but not seen as something that could actually happen any time soon – A Ryan Reynolds Deadpool and Hugh Jackman Wolverine crossover. The reasoning being that with Hugh Jackman saying goodbye to Wolverine in 2017’s Logan and Ryan Reynolds just beginning as Deadpool, it didn’t really seem like a possibility that the two would be on screen together.
I mean, if we were to get technical, they did appear as Deadpool and Wolverine in that Origins movie – but who the hell counts that?
Well, it might actually happen – if a new rumor from The Wrap is to be believed. The report states:
An individual with knowledge of the project tells TheWrap the “Deadpool” scene in “Logan” will most likely become a post-credit scene. Fox declined to comment.
Whether or not it’s actually in the film or is simply a deleted scene extra remains to be seen. Fingers crossed that this actually happens though!
In Logan,
In the near future, a weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) cares for an ailing Professor X (Patrick Stewart) at a remote outpost on the Mexican border. His plan to hide from the outside world gets upended when he meets a young mutant (Dafne Keen) who is very much like him. Logan must now protect the girl and battle the dark forces that want to capture her.
