The first trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has been released.
Not much is really known about the project, as far as plot details go, aside from this:
Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.
The trailer is definitely a teaser trailer or ‘announcement trailer’ but it has that epic feel of the old film and fans of he original are sure to be excited. Check it out below:
Written by Michael Green (Alien: Covenant; Logan) and Hampton Fancher (original Blade Runner) with cinematography by Oscar-nominated Roger Deakins, the cast also includes Mackenzie Davis, Jared Leto, Dave Bautista, Carla Juri, Barkhad Abdi, and Robin Wright.
