Suicide Squad was released to mix reviews this past summer, mostly due to the fact that it was obvious WB edited the film in various different ways.
Whether it was the pacing, or the newly added music to make the film seem more upbeat, something was definitely off.
People were most disappointed, I think, by the lack of Jared Leto’s Joker in the film. He was heavily featured in the advertising, but only was in the movie for around 10 minutes. There was an Extended Cut released but it wasn’t as different as the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Extended Cut.
Well, now, ScreenJunkies have given the film an Honest Trailer, that focuses on those points of the film. Check it out below:
Personally, I think the film had some pretty positive points. Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn was great, and her chemistry with Jared Leto was great. I’d like to see WB just let their filmmakers go to work and not mess with the final product.
