One thing which has has yet to be revealed is a release date, but fans shouldn’t get their hopes up about it coming anytime soon, since before that we will have The Defenders, The Punisher, Jessica Jones Season Two and Daredevil Season Three to come first. Many fans had assumed that following the upcoming Team-up miniseries, Marvel would pair off Luke Cage with Iron Fist as a Heroes for Hire series in an attempt to make space for new series.
Whilst Luke Cage was well-received by fans for it’s style and performances, it was also criticised for it’s meandering storyline and disappointing finale. You can check out our review for the show over here. Hopefully the second season will address some of these issues. At least we know he’ll be making it through The Defenders unscathed.
