Last week we talked about Ghost in the Shell teaser, which featured a few fairly impressive shots that teased a trailer release. After the short wait, a trailer is finally here for the much-antacpiated anime adaptation.
A new poster was also released:
As someone unaware of the property, this trailer was fairly impressive. Any viewer will admittedly catch their eyes on the visuals, with the CGI looking seamless and each shot featuring impressive detail. The film is clearly creating an inventive world, and that’s always nice to see in a movie.

Many have been in doubt about the controversial casting choice of Scarlett Johansson, but she looks quite good in the film. After the success of Lucy, its about time she is getting to star again in a major action flick. In each role she has great presence and always delivers when it comes to kicking butt.
Ghost in the Shell hits theaters March 31, 2017.
