Video: New Behind The Scenes Footage of Ghost In The Shell

With the first trailer fast approaching, Entertainment Tonight have released a behind the scenes look at one of 2017’s most anticipated movies.

Although much controversy has been made over Scarlett Johansson’s casting, hopefully the slither of new footage will put many peoples minds at ease as they get to see her in the thick of the action.

So far we’ve been treated to a series of vignettes which on the whole, have looked surprisingly faithful to the manga/anime. However, as is so often the case with Hollywood, it maybe a case of style over substance. One can only hope that the screenplay is as intricate and thought provoking as Masamune Shirow’s.

Ghost in the Shell is scheduled for release on March 31st, 2017 and the first full trailer will be released on Sunday 13th November.

Ghost in the Shell follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology.
