This weekend has apparently been about praising Ben Affleck.
On Sunday, we exclusively reported on Charlie Cox and Elden Henson defending Ben Affleck’s hated (by the majority of fans and critics) portrayal of Daredevil and now, it appears he has another fan – but for a different performance.
Marvel’s Daredevil actor Vincent D’Onofrio stated on Twitter that he’s got a bit of a DC fan in him too, expressing anticipation for the upcoming Wonder Woman from the new trailer:

It wasn’t long before some fans grew a bit curious of his taste in the DCEU, rivaling his Marvel’s Cinematic Universe world of Daredevil. One such handle that went by @Hallvaror_AG questioned the ever-split question of his interest in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Despite not directly responding to the overall quality of the film, he did give a certain praise:

Much like the rest of us, Ben Affleck left quite the impression on us as the new Batman, from his controversial casting announcement at first being reacted very negatively to his overwhelmingly amazing portrayal as the Caped Crusader in his DCEU debut in BvS.
Last week, it was longtime Batman voice actor Kevin Conroy who gave Ben Affleck similarly high praise:
“When I first heard they were going to have different actors, well I thought – that’s really weird. Why don’t they establish a franchise? Each actor brings such a different art to the character. It’s really fun. I think Christian Bale’s Bruce Wayne was probably the best Bruce Wayne. I think the voice he used for Batman was bizarre. I think Ben Affleck – a lot of people gave him a lot of crap for getting cast. People on Twitter were going crazy about it and I said, “Wait a minute, wait a minute. Give him a chance.” I think he surprised a lot of people. He’s really wonderful. He does really well on both Batman and Bruce Wayne. So, I think it’s fun to see different actors what they do with it.”
It leaves us to no surprise that much like the majority of us, D’Onofrio believes him to be the best Batman yet.
The Kingpin has spoken.
